The VSS AMAC Onion Loader (UL) is used to load the harvested onions from the swath into wagons. Here, achieving capacity is very important: loading as many onions as possible at the same time, in the shortest possible time frame. The VSS AMAC Onion Loader stands out for its robustness, simplicity and large capacity. This is (partly) achieved by the long sieve web and high conveyor. The sieve web on the machine has a small diameter turning roller, which picks up the onions from the swath and places them on the sieve web very easily and in a product-friendly way. The small inclination of the sieve web ensures that the onions will not roll back.
And that robustness and simplicity? That is in the use of materials, such as high-quality bearings, but also the fact that the machine has a low maintenance drive (no chains). All functions are also fully electric - hydraulically controllable from the tractor cabin. The machine comes standard with a hydraulic start valve with a Load Sensing (L.S.) connection. The Onion Loader is fitted with dual-air brakes as standard.
