In this lecture, we would like to share our diverse approaches and initial practical experiences regarding the establishment of a site-specific organic and mineral N fertilisation on a mixed farm in Brandenburg. It will cover various aspects: - the targeted use of precision farming and sensor technologies (e.g. pneumatic spreaders, NIR slurry tank, N sensor, sensor-based soil mapping, monitoring stations, remote sensing), - how the various data streams can be linked on a common data platform, - how the data from field trials can help to find out which fertilisation strategy is the better one for coupled organic and mineral N fertilisation from an economic and greenhouse gas emission point of view, - how the findings can be communicated using modern teaching methods (e.g. virtual reality) and made tangible for practitioners.
