Modern agricultural technologies excel at boosting yields in the field using advanced, next generation tools. Yet the post harvest phase—particularly for non free flowing bulk materials such as meals, fertilizers, feed and industrial by products—is often neglected. While silos efficiently manage free flowing crops, flat storage warehouses, widely used for denser products, frequently depend on outdated and labor intensive methods like wheel loader unloading, leading to inefficiencies, inconsistent results, and environmental drawbacks. In this session, we’ll examine how bulk flat storage is evolving from purely manual setups to SMART systems that transform these facilities into environments that are Safe, Sustainable, Efficient, Automated, and Remotely Controlled.
