About
To fully automate agricultural processes, complex systems are required that process a wide variety of sensor data. RTMaps, a graphical development framework for multi-sensor applications, accelerates the development of such systems by providing solutions for many standard tasks. This allows developers to fully focus on functionality. In this presentation, we will use an intelligent sprayer application to demonstrate how this graphical tool supports the development of multi-sensor applications. We show how an efficient real-time processing chain for sensor data looks like and how off-the-shelf components for sensors, buses and perception algorithms simplify development. We also address ISOBUS support in RTMaps and show how a task controller interface can be implemented with it. In addition, we show how to efficiently develop and test the application using a closed loop
simulation.
