Product description

The SAM-CAM AI Mapping System is the high-performance solution for precise, large-scale weed detection in professional arable farming. It combines a proprietary multi-camera rig with integrated edge AI for immediate on-board data pre-processing.

Key Specifications

  • Mapping speed: up to 60 ha/h
  • Ground resolution: < 2 mm (GSD)
  • Data processing: on-board edge AI, real-time pre-processing
  • Output: Spot-spray maps in ISOBUS-compatible formats

How It Works

During the flight, the SAM-CAM AI captures ultra-high-resolution aerial images and processes them directly on board. Using artificial intelligence, weeds are identified down to individual-plant level and differentiated from crops. Within just a few hours after the flight, ready-to-use spot-spray maps are available for application.

Benefits

  • Herbicide savings: up to 90% reduction in input use
  • Precision: accurate nest and single-plant treatment
  • Compatibility: works with all common ISOBUS sprayers with section control
  • Planning security: application volumes are known in advance
  • Environmental impact: protects crops, soil and pollinators

Use Cases

  • Patch and spot spraying in row and broad-acre crops
  • Thistle and dock control in grassland and stubble fields
  • Biodiversity monitoring and field scouting
  • Yield optimization through targeted crop protection strategies
