The cultivator lifts—the rotor throws!
The special goosefoot blade cuts the weed roots, loosens the soil, and lifts the roots to the soil surface. The specially designed tines of the rotor grab the roots and shake off the soil, while the roots are thrown high into the air far behind the machine. The roots land on the soil surface, far away from the soil's growth resources: water and nutrients.
On the surface, the weed roots are exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays and the wind, drying out and losing their vitality until they eventually die. In countries with frosty nights and
cold winter months, good results are achieved by leaving the weed roots on the surface over the winter without plowing. When the plant cells freeze, the roots burst and they “freeze dry.”
Moisture protection and weed control are achieved with minimal
tillage in a modern way. It is also ideal
for breaking up older grassland areas and pastures.
By combining it with a crimper roller, you can also work on strong cover crops. The crimper roller successfully bends the plants in the direction of travel, breaking leaves and stems, which then rot more quickly.
