AMAZONE's hoeing portfolio covers a wide range of applications with the Venterra series, from the compact Venterra 1K to the Venterra 2K and the powerful Venterra VR 4 with working widths from 1.3 to 12.8 m. Equipped with state-of-the-art camera and sliding frame technology, these implements enable highly precise weed control while protecting the main crop.
With the Venterra 1K, we offer an implement for precise mechanical weed control with working widths of up to 4.2 m. These hoeing implement series can be operated cost-effectively with the VB 2 front-mounted carrier or as a high-tech version with camera control and offset frame for rear mounting.
The Venterra 1K is available with a choice of 2 different base frames. With the very compact standard base frame, the implement has a very compact design, giving it the lowest possible center of gravity relative to the tractor. The base frame of the Venterra 1K-long shifts the hoe's tool bar 50 cm to the rear. This creates a free space that can be used as a field of vision for the camera. This makes the Venterra 1K-long perfect for precise work with camera control in bed crops.
With its ingenious details, the Venterra VR 4 sets new standards in large-area hoeing technology. Mounted in the tractor's 3-point hitch, the Venterra VR 4 is compact in the field and very maneuverable on headlands. Thanks to the Amazone modular system, even our largest hoeing model can be equipped with various tool combinations and thus delivers the most precise results in all arable crops, despite its large working width. Despite its working width of up to 12.8 m, the implement folds up so compactly that it can be transported safely on the road with a transport width of less than 3 m and a transport height of less than 4 m.
A special feature of this implement is the integrated VR 4 sliding frame, which has been specially designed for large working widths and forces and ensures sensitive control of the hoeing elements between the crop rows. The integrated sliding frame moves the hoe's center of gravity closer to the tractor, reducing the tractor's lifting power requirement and front weight. With a very large offset range of 60 cm (+/- 30 cm) in total, you always achieve the most precise results, even when conditions are challenging. For optimized weight distribution, the offset frame can be equipped with two additional support wheels.
