AMAZONE offers a comprehensive range of seed drills for different applications and farm sizes – from mechanical and pneumatic sowing technology to precision air seeders and supplementary sowing.
Mechanical seed drills
AMAZONE offers various models for mechanical sowing. The D9 mounted conventional seed drill is available in three versions:
AMAZONE also offers the Cataya pack top seed drill combination, which can be combined with rotary harrows or rotary cultivators. The seed drill in combination with the CombDisc 3000 ensures fast soil cultivation. These mechanical systems are characterized by simple operation, robust construction, and reliable seeding technology.
Pneumatic seed drills
In the field of pneumatic sowing technology, AMAZONE relies on modern and flexible solutions:
For large farms, AMAZONE offers specialized implements such as:
Precision seeding technology
With the Precea, AMAZONE offers a state-of-the-art precision air seeder for maximum precision at working speeds of up to 15 km/h. The Precea is available in versions with 4 to 12 rows – ideal for all farm sizes. For large areas, there is also a trailed version with up to 24 rows and a working width of 12 m. These implements impress with their precise grain planting, flexible equipment and high area output.
GreenDrill universal pack top seed drill
The GreenDrill is the ideal solution for simultaneous sowing of catch crops or undersown crops in a single pass. It can be combined with various AMAZONE implements – such as the Cataya, Centaya, Cirrus or the Primera DMC. The pack top seed drills can also be combined with the KE, KX or KG active soil tillage implements or a short disc harrow or a mulch cultivator.
Depending on requirements, a seed hopper with a capacity of 200 or 500 liters is available. The seed is distributed over the entire area via deflector plates or distribution rails. Alternatively, the seed can also be distributed directly via the sowing coulter or a separate outlet. The GreenDrill scores with its simple filling and flexible application options.
Implement control/monitoring
Amazone offers seed drills in a wide range of designs to suit the customer's requirements. The metering drive starts with a mechanical ground wheel drive on the entry-level models. For easier calibration, electrically assisted monitoring is available, right up to an ISOBUS-controlled implement with which application maps can be processed.
With its modular program, AMAZONE offers the right sowing technology for every farm size and all requirements – whether mechanical, pneumatic or for single-seed sowing. Supplemented by flexible additional solutions such as the GreenDrill, work steps can be efficiently combined and seed quality improved in the long term.
