ing. Rijk van Dongen has started the Q Plus company in 1988 after working as application specialist for rotary joints and quick release couplings.

Q Plus started as a specialised trading company in compressed air products like pneumatics, rotary joints and air compressors for industry and argicultural markets. 

Quickly, engineering for product improvement, component devellopment and system designs was added on request of the OEM customers.  Note the IoT connected MelQ compressor for high quality compressed air for milking robots, as a market oriented development.

Today 34 people in Q Plus are supplying 65% of their turnover to leading OEM for milking robots, and ag vehicles, and industry, thank to the "quality first"design goals, and quick reaction ability.  Today 4 engineers are develloping on customer, and internal requests. We evolved from trading company to an engineering office into a manufacturing company.

Allready supplying components to ag vehicle OEM like rotary joints, valve blocks and air compressors, the engineering office set to analyse the CTIS market, and set design criteria for a new CTIS concept.  This resulted in a new pneumatic concept (3 pressure concpt for one tubing) and furher integration of electronics and pneumatics, including 2 patents, and 2 pending applications. Modular, plug and play assembly and a hollistic view on implementation to save assembly time.

The devellopment was split off, and  anew company QTIS B.V was founded to fully focus on technical and market devellopment, inside the excisting holding. Prime market OEM, second market local dealers.
