About
Although demand for Central Tyre Inflation Systems increases suppliers are still unexperienced with issue’s like condensate forming, and air compressor oil emulsifying which are the root-cause for unexpected CTIS break downs. Tyre pressure measurements cause delays due to inaccuracy. “Secondary” goals as tyre management (e.g. overheated or leaking tyres, optimise fuel savings) and safety issues (e.g. hill side tyre pressure adaptations, and low pressure high speed warnings, overheating warnings) have not been addressed in CTIS designs. Costprice management for parts and assembly time still leave opportunities in our holistic production approach. We explain the problems and solutions, and show you the latest generation CTIS system.
