About the Speaker

From Prototype to Practical Success – How Agricultural Innovations Reach the Market

Closing Session of Agritechnica Week: From Lab to Market – Accelerating Technology Transfer As Agritechnica 2025 draws to a close, the spotlight turns to a key question: How can emerging technologies be effectively transferred from the lab and test fields into the market? This session brings together leading voices from research, industry, and start-ups to explore how innovation networks, test farms, and data-driven development approaches are accelerating the transition from prototype to product. Program Highlights Hype Cycle Agritechnica 2025 An overview of the key technology trends at the fair with Dominik Ewald & Olaf Deininger Fraunhofer AgriAI Club A networking platform for AI-powered agricultural technologies presented by Dominik Ewald Transformation Platform “Testfarm” From field trials to market readiness with Peter Groß A real-world lab spanning over 200 hectares, offering start-ups, SMEs, and industry partners a space to test, scale, and validate new systems, sensors, AI solutions, and autonomous technologies. Panel Discussion “How can we bring innovations into practice faster?” with Peter Groß, Dominik Ewald, Jacob Rohn Moderated by Olaf Deininger This session offers concrete insights into how technology transfer processes are designed, how collaborations emerge, and how new technologies successfully overcome the hurdle to market entry.
