Photonics, AI and robotics are key enabling technologies in modern agriculture. Photonics (optical sensors, lasers) enables precise measurement of crops and the environment. AI processes this data and identifies patterns for decision support. Robotics autonomously implement actions from sowing to harvesting. This integration reduces labour, increases reproducibility and provides high-resolution data for anomaly detection and trend analysis. Ultimately, it improves understanding of complex systems and supports data-driven decisions for sustainable, high-yield crop management.
