Electrification in agriculture has progressed in the recent years, but current battery solutions still limit the technology’s potential.  AGCO Power, responsible for the global powertrain development within AGCO, is developing a modular next-generation battery concept tailor-made for the needs of agriculture.  Topics of our presentation: A deep dive into our concept’s technical solutions & how it can further support electrification in agriculture, BEV’s role in AGCO Power’s technology roadmap overall as well as the importance of developing concrete solutions for end-of-life battery cells.  The battery concept will be on display at AGCO Power’s booth in Agritechnica.
