GRAIN STORAGE

In terms of the silos cereal grains and other loose materials offered by  Polnet, among the available assortment of products wee can distinguish  five primary product groups: funnel silo, big funnel silo, flat-bottom silo, big flat-bottom silo and silos with inside funnel.

FUNNEL SILOS

SLP silos with a 45-degree funnel are used for long-term

storage of dry grain, rapeseed, corn, and seeds, while those

with a 50- or 60-degree funnel are used as buffer silos for

dryers . We also offer funnel silos for difficult-to-flow materials

such as soybean or rapeseed meal.

FLAT-BOTTOM GRAIN SILOS

Flat-bottom Grain Silos (Model SPP) are designed for long-term storage of dry cereal grains, rapeseed, and corn. They are equipped with a perforated floor that allows for efficient and uniform aeration of the stored material. The use of a temperature monitoring system and an appropriate ventilation system prevents from moisture accumulation and the development of mold in the grain.

• Capacity range: from 20 up to 6000 tons.

• Solid and dent-resistant construction – thanks to use of corrugated steel and vertical reinforcements on the silo body.
