Persistent periods of drought and falling groundwater levels also require a rethink in forestry and agriculture. Soil moisture is a relevant factor for a large number of decisions here. Our self-sufficient, robust and easy-to-install sensors make it easier than ever to measure soil moisture, temperature and microclimate – and derive practical everyday decisions from them.
The climavi Neo is an innovative transmitter unit that records environmental data such as air temperature, humidity and solar radiation at variable heights in the plant stand and transmits it to the climavi app via modern wireless standards. In addition to the climavi soil moisture sensor, other sensors, e.g. for wind or precipitation, can be integrated via SDI-12 connections.
The system is powered by two solar cells and a rechargeable battery. The sensor is therefore completely self-sufficient. Commissioning is simple: after installation, the sensor is activated using a QR code and further adjustments can be made conveniently using the free app.

Climavi SOIL
The climavi soil is an innovative soil sensor for precise monitoring of the soil microclimate. It measures soil temperature, moisture and permittivity at three depths with just one device. It can be easily connected to IoT nodes such as the climavi microclimate via SDI-12 or analog. Calibration is manual or automated via our environmental intelligence, which also offers tools for soil analysis and irrigation mapping. Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to a specially developed tool.
