Product description

Non-destructive real-time inspection up to the near-infrared range

The fruit scanner demonstrates live how hyperspectral imaging (HSI) can inspect entire crates of fruit and vegetables in seconds without causing any damage. The technology not only detects external characteristics such as bruises, but also internal quality parameters such as sugar content or maturity. AI-based image processing delivers objective results in real time and is available at any time.

Potential for agricultural technology

HSI makes invisible plant characteristics measurable – such as nutrient content, water stress, or ripeness.  This opens up new applications: from early detection of plant stress to precise maturity determination for harvest automation to spectral weed detection.

Integrated into tractors, harvesters, or robotic systems, HSI provides the basis for data-driven agronomic decisions – from fertilization to harvest.
