With more than 30 years of experience in mechanical weed control, CMN Maskintec A/S is among the most specialized and trusted manufacturers in Europe.
Danish engineering, combined with extensive field testing, has made CMN a leading name in sustainable and non-chemical weed management.
The CMN Flex-Weeder range offers working widths from 2 to 24 metres, providing maximum flexibility and effective weed control in cereals, grassland, and row crops.
Each model is built for precision, stability, and durability under the most demanding field conditions.
Effective mechanical weed control is based on one simple rule – weeds are best controlled by covering them.
The goal is to loosen and aerate the soil as thoroughly as possible without harming the crop.
This principle significantly reduces the need for herbicides while improving soil structure, aeration, and biodiversity.
The Flex-Weeder stands out through its unique tine design, flexible frame, and precise ground-following system, ensuring uniform soil movement and excellent weed coverage even under variable field conditions.
The result: reliable, eco-friendly weed control and optimal crop growth.
Each Flex-Weeder features 1-metre working sections mounted around a central axis, preventing bouncing at high speeds or on uneven soil.
These narrow sections ensure perfect adaptation across the field contour, providing consistent, smooth tillage and excellent soil contact.
Every machine is fitted with custom-built, straight double-coil tension-spring tines, adjustable from 90° vertical to 45° backward.
Extensive field research has proven that CMN tines maintain a uniform working depth, move a large amount of soil without harming the crop, and lift up to 80 % fewer stones than comparable harrows – reducing wear, downtime, and maintenance costs.
By equipping the Flex-Weeder with a CMN pneumatic seed drill, farmers can sow catch crops simultaneously with the final weed-control pass.
The pneumatic seeder ensures precise distribution and excellent germination for small-seeded species such as clover, grasses, and cover crops.
The CMN FW280 pneumatic seed drill is available with either mechanical infinitely variable transmission or GPS-controlled dosing (G-Can system).
A key advantage: no tractor GPS system is required – the seeder operates independently with precise and user-friendly application control.
The CMN pneumatic seed drill can also be fitted to ridge drills, rollers, and stubble cultivators, making it a versatile solution for sustainable farming and mechanical weed control across multiple operations.
