Modular armrest 225MA Midi – flexibility meets sustainability
The armrest 225MA Midi is a modular operating system for mobile machines that combines ergonomics, functionality and sustainability at the highest level. Developed for use in off-highway vehicles such as tractors, sprayers or self-propelled machines, it offers a wide range of configuration options and meets the highest safety standards.
Focus on sustainability
The 225MA Midi armrest is made from 75% bio-based plastics, manufactured from granulate based on castor oil. The armrest pad is made from high-quality, vegan apple leather, which is not only abrasion-resistant and durable, but also free from harmful plasticisers.
Ergonomic design for comfortable working
The armrest impresses with its compact arrangement of components, clear colours and symbols, and well-thought-out functional and night lighting, which enables intuitive operation even in poor lighting conditions. The ergonomically shaped joystick handles can be individually configured and ensure fatigue-free working.
Safety and compliance with standards
The armrest complies with Safety Level AgPLc according to ISO 25119 and is Mother Regulation compliant (EU 167/2013). Optional integrated emergency stop buttons enable individual functions or the entire machine to be shut down immediately in an emergency.
Technical highlights
- Plug & Play integration via CAN bus (SAE J1939) reduces wire harnesses and plug connections and facilitates vehicle integration.
- Vibrotactile feedback: A vibration motor built into the handle provides tactile feedback and increases operating safety.

- Robust joystick and multifunction handle: single- or dual-axis, with friction brake, latching or momentary, optionally with FNR option
- Compact joystick: up to 6 buttons or 4 buttons and 1 thumb wheel
- Hand throttle: enables control of the engine speed
- Buttons: can be configured as desired – with different colours and backlit symbols, as well as function and night lighting
- Encoder: suitable for navigation in the display control menu
- PTO: for safe control of the power take-off
- JFT fingertip joysticks: suitable for controlling the hydraulic control units
- Flat operating unit module: enables the use of different module inserts, e.g. for 4 additional slots for button modules
- Armrest: maximum operating comfort thanks to padded armrest, covered with high-quality apple leather
- Storage compartment: 4 additional buttons and up to 3 additional potentiometers possible, plus a USB socket for charging smartphones
- Hitchwheel: for adjusting the working depth of the rear hydraulics (EHR)
