With EMMA, HAWE Hydraulik launched a new plug-shaped proportional amplifier on the market, which is characterised by simple commissioning, smart monitoring functions and wireless parameterisation via WiFi. In a single housing, EMMA combines signal amplification, position monitoring and a modern web server – a world first that opens up new perspectives for both stationary and mobile applications.
The proportional amplifier type EMMA has been developed for direct mounting onto a solenoid valve as a line connector. It is suitable for controlling proportional single-action and twin solenoids. The integrated magnetic measuring technology allows the neutral position/spool position of directly operated solenoid valves to be monitored. Important parameters (e.g. input signal, minimum current, maximum current, dither, ramp times, etc.) can be set via a wireless interface using a smartphone or PC.
The compact plug amplifier has an integrated web server. This means that parameterization can be carried out conveniently via any WLAN-enabled device - without any software or cables. At the same time, compared to its predecessor "EV2S", EMMA comes with many exciting condition monitoring functionalities that you would not expect to find in the compact housing.
