- The DRV 05_BT* compression and engine pressure loss tester enables the recording of compression pressure values and advanced diagnostics of each individual cylinder or combustion chamber by determining the air leakage.
- The degree of leakage can be determined by feeding compressed air into the combustion chamber in a controlled manner.
- The special device sensor enables quick assessment. If the value is not in the green range, the measured pressure loss is not acceptable.
- Before performing the test, the “LR Smart Tools” app performs a guided calibration on the workshop compressed air to set the maximum permissible pressure loss of the engine (- 23%).
- The DRV 05_BT* from Autotestgeräte Leitenberger then records the measured values and sends them via Bluetooth® to a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet.
- The measurement data can then be quickly and easily analyzed in a specially developed app called “LR Smart Tools” and documented for customers.
- The compression and engine pressure loss tester is compatible with all Leitenberger adapters and many other adapters available on the market.
