Thanks to their symmetrical design, the EIPQ pump can operate in both
directions of rotation , either as a pump or as a motor. Additionally, the inlet side can also be pressurized during pump operation. This offers significant potential for energy savings.

Eckerle internal gear pumps are gap-compensated and have been used in variable-speed drives for decades . Their excellent efficiency at low speeds and low viscosity and temperature dependence result in excellent controllability across the entire operating range.
