With the new non-chemical weed treatment system Weed Control, Continental is once again bringing innovation to agriculture. This sustainable solution detects and eliminates weeds organically and with high precision. The system is based on optical sensor technology. Supported by software and artificial intelligence (AI), it accurately detects weeds and destroys them with boiling water. This means that weed control has the potential to be both more economical and ecological than conventional solutions for weed control in agriculture. Continental and its partners are currently developing the Smart Farming solution with the aim of industrializing it as an implement.
