Olimac, the company based in Margarita (Cuneo - Italy), which is global leader in the design and manufacturing of corn and sunflower heads, has recently doubled the size of its plant to meet the growing global demand for its machines. This continuous growth has led the company based in the Cuneo area to export 98% of its production and become the European manufacturer that sells the most corn heads in the United States — an exceptional achievement, considering that the U.S. is the world’s largest corn producer, accounting for 40% of global production.
Today, Olimac’s facility spans over 50,000 square meters of production space on a property of more than 90,000 square meters. The extraordinary success of Olimac is no coincidence. Several unique features set it apart in the global agricultural machinery industry: the factory is ultra-technological and fully robotized.
