One of the latest unconventional developments by the KMZ Industries team is a drying complex designed specifically for walnuts, manufactured and commissioned at the request of a Ukrainian industrial-scale walnut producer.
The drying complex comprises five dryers and over ten specialized belt conveyors, each tailored for handling walnuts.
As noted by KMZ Industries, this highly customized project presented a unique challenge for the company’s engineers and designers, as the technology and construction of walnut dryers differ significantly from those of grain dryers.
“However, thanks to this order, we gained valuable experience in a new sector for us, developed unique equipment, and successfully completed the project. It’s also worth noting that we are the first Ukrainian manufacturer to produce such equipment at an industrial scale,” — said Serhii Boiko, Chief Design Engineer at KMZ Industries.
