Global farming is transforming. The farming industry is looking to farm more efficiently and with a lower footprint. AGRITECHNICA is one of the leading trade fairs, where suppliers meet farmers showcasing their solutions to the farming of the future.

14 Danish companies join the Pavilion of Denmark on November 9-15 in Hannover. Gathered in the Digital Farming area of the exhibition, Danish suppliers to the industry bring technologies and products that support the transformation of the industry.

”The Global farming industry is going through a transformation where farmers worldwide are looking to work smarter and more efficiently while saving resources and energy. Danish providers to the industry have strong skills when it comes to AI and digital solutions to optimize farming of today and tomorrow. Our 14 exhibitors are looking forward to showcasing their intelligent solutions at AGRITECHNICA,” says Sandra Ladefoged, Head of Food Tech at Danish Export Association who organize the Pavilion of Denmark.

Reducing water consumption
Pavilion of Denmark gathers 14 Danish companies showcasing a wide range of products and solutions to the global farming industry.

One of the Danish exhibitors is WekoAgro Machinery showcasing an irrigation machine that can reduce water consumption by up to 20 percent.

The water pressure drives a generator that supplies power to an energy pack, so there is energy available when the water supply is turned off. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a spreading boom that distributes the water without wind drift and with reduced evaporation. This achieves better utilization of the supplied water.

“For us, this is a perfect example of smart farming, saving resources and making farming much more efficient. We’re looking to expand across Europe and AGRITECHNICA is the place to meet new potential customers and partners,” says Karsten Nielsen, head of markets at WekoAgro Machinery.

Predicting weather conditions for efficient farming
Agriculture is facing increasingly unpredictable weather conditions, which require intelligent and reliable data to make the right decisions. Cordulus has therefore developed a complete weather solution that helps farmers plan, streamline and optimize their work - and at the same time contribute to a more sustainable operation.

"We are very much looking forward to our participation at this year's AGRITECHNICA. There is a high level of innovation in Pavilion of Denmark, and I look forward to presenting our AI-based weather solutions to an international audience on a scale that is rarely possible," says Mads Linnemann Simonsen, Partner Manager at Cordulus.

More data, less chemicals
One of the new exhibitors at Pavilion of Denmark is Akson Robotics, a young company founded by three robotic engineers. Using AI combined with drone images, the software CropUp from Akson can determine exactly where to use chemicals in the fields and where not to, reducing the use of chemicals by up to 90 percent.

At the same time, CropUp can be used to send the spraymaps directly to the farmers equipment for precise spaying of chemicals in the fields.

“We want to make it more profitable to farm greener. Reducing the environmental footprint will be license to produce in the future. Our solution is applicable globally and we’re currently present in Europe, Australia and South America, supporting more than 400 farmers worldwide. At AGRITECHNICA we’re looking for partners and distributors to expand our export even further,” says Albert Sonne Olesen, CEO and co-founder at Akson Robotics.
