Shaping digital agriculture together – agrirouter at AGRITECHNICA
DKE-Data is a specialist partner of DLG in the “Spotlight Digital Farming” (Hall 21) at AGRITECHNICA 2025 and will be demonstrating how digital technologies can increase efficiency, sustainability, and interoperability.
agrirouter Next Generation – More performance, maximum availability, more possibilities
With the agrirouter Next Generation, DKE-Data is presenting a fundamentally revised version of its open data exchange platform for agriculture at AGRITECHNICA. The new version offers impressive performance, maximum availability, and an intuitive user interface. Thanks to modern microservices architecture, optimized user guidance, and new interfaces—such as to the John Deere Operations Center™—agrirouter is becoming the central platform for the cross-manufacturer exchange of agricultural data. For the first time, a direct connection to the John Deere Operations Center™ is possible: in the first stage of expansion, planning data and documentation of field work (e.g., application and yield maps) can be reliably transferred.
Another highlight is the exchange of master data between CCI.Maps and the John Deere Operations Center™ via the agrirouter. With the Master Data Sync function, field boundaries will be synchronized automatically in the future. From 2025, the platform will also enable data transfer to the Milk Sustainability Center – an initiative by John Deere and DeLaval to promote transparency and sustainability in dairy farming. Further expansion stages will follow from 2026, including the bidirectional exchange of telemetry data and the sending of work orders directly from the John Deere Operations Center™ to connected machines.
Pioneering role in interoperability: agrirouter becomes AgIN participant
agrirouter is also setting standards in the field of interoperability: it is one of the first participants in the new AgIN initiative. From 2025, this will enable the cross-manufacturer reception and transmission of farm and machine data, initially for B2B applications, with extended functions from 2026. All agrirouter-compatible solutions will automatically become “AgIN ready.”
New partnerships and applications
DKE-Data is also expanding its partner network internationally. New collaborations include Rootsey and MeteoTrack (Poland), Farmdroid (Denmark), CropX (Israel), FJDynamics (Singapore), the Tecomec Group (Italy), and Agres (Brazil). This allows farmers to exchange data via the agrirouter with isoFarm (Tecomec) or the FMIS CropX, for example. FieldEngine—a software solution from Rauch, Krone, Zunhammer, and NEXAT—will also be connected in the near future.
agrirouter goes Smart Dairy & Smart Food
Special attention is being paid to the area of dairy farming: feeding technology, silo management, weather stations, and scales can be integrated in a standardized manner in the future. Examples include the connection of Trioliet feed mixers with fodjan or collaborations with xFarm to prepare smart food chain solutions. In the NXTGEN Hightech research project, DKE-Data is working with Lely and Wageningen University on the integration of autonomous machines such as the EXOS forage wagon.
agrirouter goes farm robotics
Farm robotics also benefits: with the connection of the autonomous FARMDROID, it is now possible for the first time to send application maps to field robots via the agrirouter and automatically document their work.
Live demos, talks, and exchange at AGRITECHNICA
DKE-Data will be showcasing these innovations live at AGRITECHNICA. Together with partners such as John Deere, SDF, Betriko, and MyEasyFarm, daily demonstrations will take place at the “Spotlight Digital Farming” booth (Hall 21). Visitors will experience practical applications such as order transmission, use of cross-manufacturer telemetry data, master data synchronization, and automated documentation.
