voestalpine Tubulars - an austrian based company - is a specialist in the production of seamless round tubes and has supplemented its product portfolio by hot-rolled seamless square and rectangular hollow sections (VTS®-edgeTubes) up to 25 mm wall thickness in 2024. 

Our VTS®-edgeTubes are ideally suited for use in mechanical engineering and agricultural engineering due to their product properties.

The product combines state-of-the-art hot-rolling technology with exceptional material quality. In terms of straightness, twisting, and corner radius, the VTS®-edgeTubes significantly exceed common standard requirements. The tighter corner radius guarantees higher section modulus, higher bending strength, and increased load-bearing capacity—ideal for self-propelled machines, cultivation machinery and tractors.

In addition to the higher and high-strength steel grades across the entire product range - that ensure weight savings and more resilience - the seamless VTS®-edgeTubes impress with their excellent surface structure without any weld seams and the homogeneous structure also in the corner areas.
