Focused on advancing the economic and social priorities of Alberta, Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) provides more than 100 industry-relevant credit and non-credit programs and a breadth of credentials to approximately 11,000 credit, non-credit and apprenticeship students. With modern teaching and learning spaces, and state-of-the-art research and innovation centers, RDP provides education and applied research opportunities in partnership with industry and communities.

Red Deer Polytechnic’s Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing – Technology Access Centre (CIM-TAC) and Energy Innovation Centre (EIC) foster innovation in advanced manufacturing and energy solutions. These Centers primarily collaborate with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs to transform ideas into tangible products and processes. By providing access to specialized equipment, expert knowledge, and funding opportunities, they aim to accelerate market readiness and economic growth for their partners while also offering valuable learning opportunities for students.
