Making agricultural machinery smarter and more sustainable – with real-time data
Efficiency, durability and sustainability are crucial for modern agricultural machinery. At Agritechnica 2025, NCTE will present its contactless torque sensor technology for OEMs – robust, maintenance-free and directly integrable without modifications to existing shafts.
Thanks to magnetostrictive technology, the sensor technology delivers precise torque and load data in real time – ideal for fertiliser spreaders, seed drills, balers, combine harvesters and tractors. Manufacturers benefit from optimised performance, higher machine availability and resource-efficient operation. The technology helps to reduce fuel consumption, reduce the amount of fertiliser spread and prevent machine breakdowns – an important contribution to sustainable agriculture.
One example is its use in fertiliser spreaders, where the sensor technology enables precise control of the spreading discs. This can reduce fertiliser use by up to 20 percent without compromising efficiency – a clear advantage for profitability and the environment.
On display at the trade fair is the PTO 7300, a plug-in sensor that can be seamlessly integrated into the power take-off shaft. This optimises machine control, uses resources more efficiently and extends the service life of critical components.
NCTE sensors are particularly robust and reliable, even under the toughest conditions such as dirt, vibrations or extreme temperatures.
