Founded in 2013 by Riccardo Magni together with his 4 children Carlo, Eugenio, Carlotta and Chiara, Magni Telescopic Handlers has rapidly established itself as a key player on the international telescopic handler scene. Based in Castelfranco Emilia, near Modena, Italy, the company has enjoyed swift success thanks to its innovative drive and the in-depth technological and cultural know-how inherited from the Magni family, who have an impressive history of entrepreneurship reaching right back to the early Seventies.
“If you dream it, you can do it” is the motto of company Chairman Riccardo Magni, who is driven by a clear ambition: that of rewriting the market’s quality rulebook by offering customers best-in-class performance every time.
The company boasts the largest offering of rotating telescopic handlers and holds two world records: the highest load capacity with the 13 tonnes (2,800 pounds) of the RTH 13.26 and the greatest lifting height with the 51 metres (165 feet) of the RTH 8.51. The complete range of telescopic handlers, which also includes the TH fixed and HTH heavy-duty lines, comprises 40 models, not to mention the offering of aerial platforms, available with diesel, hybrid and electric propulsion systems.
Magni has recently expanded into the agricultural sector with a line of stationary telehandlers, entering a dynamic and strategic market where reliability and versatility are paramount. The range will initially consist of 5 machines, each designed and engineered with the same precision, quality, and innovation that define all our products.
The enlarged Castelfranco Emilia headquarters, opened in 2021, employs a workforce of more than 500 people on a total area of 80 hectares (198 acres), with buildings of over 45,000 m² (484,376 sq ft). The facility is equipped with an environment-friendly under-floor heating and cooling system and a photovoltaic plant able to produce 1 GWh of electricity per year. The organisation also comprises 8 branches across Europe, the United States and South Africa, a worldwide distribution network of 201 dealers, with a consolidated turnover that has continued to grow exponentially since its inception.
Safety, performance and innovation are fundamental to all Magni products, as are the colours red, symbolising the company’s passion for what it does, and grey, evoking strength and reliability. Style is also a crucial factor in telescopic handler development, since the cab shape not only delivers outstanding visibility and safety but is also an iconic feature, included in the company’s logo.
