During the show, the Garford team will showcase advanced mechanical weed control products, including its new advanced vision guidance system Robocorop AI, alongside electrical weeding technology with the Garford Electric Weeder.

Robocrop AI

As a world leader in specialised precision guided hoes and row crop equipment, and pioneer in vision guidance systems, Garford has now achieved a quantum leap by processing multi-modal camera images with an artificial neural network (AI). This enables the system to reliably distinguish crops from cultivated plants.

Garford Electric Weeder

The agreement between UK manufacturers Garford and RootWave brings next generation weeding technology to the market, by combining electric weed control with unique camera-controlled guidance technology, for high-value and high-intensive crops as well as broadacre arable applications. The RootWave system uses electricity to boil weeds and their roots. This makes electrical weeding highly effective and, because it is non-chemical and does not disturb the soil, it is compatible with both organic and regenerative farming systems.
