F.X.S. Sauerburger Traktoren und Gerätebau GmbH develops and manufactures slope tractors and attachments for agricultural and municipal use. Over the years, the company has focused on slope equipment carriers and large-area mulchers. The company's product portfolio also includes double-blade mowers and mulchers for viticulture. 

Originally founded in 1886 as a blacksmith's workshop, Sauerburger began trading and repairing agricultural machinery in 1961 and has since developed into an innovative, internationally active medium-sized company in the field of tractor and equipment manufacturing. Today, the Wasenweiler site is still home to the headquarters of the family-owned company, now in its ninth generation, with its own development and production facilities. Sauerburger employs 75 people.
