The company was founded in 1956 by Franz Fischer in a garage in the center of Tramin (South Tyrol/Italy). 

The Fischer Factory Group has always produced innovative mulchers that contribute to sustainable agriculture with a focus on fruit and wine growing but are also used in the municipal sector. 

Fischer mulchers make their pesticide-free contribution to natural, sustainable soil and landscape conservation in all areas. For example, at airports, in open-space photovoltaic systems/solar parks and at trotting and racecourses worldwide.

In 2020, the product range was expanded, and the forestry division was added.
