CORAmaps – Intelligent Data for Sustainable Agriculture

CORAmaps GmbH was founded in 2019 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Darmstadt. Our team brings together solid expertise in remote sensing, machine learning, radar imaging, geodesy and environmental sciences.

We are convinced that AI-supported analysis of satellite-based radar data (SAR) is a key technology for providing reliable information about the state of our planet anywhere in the world – quickly, accurately, and independently of weather or time of day.

A particular focus of our work lies in agriculture. With our data solutions, we make it visible what is growing in the fields, how crops are developing, and when harvests take place. In this way, we create transparency in agricultural processes and equip farmers, companies, and institutions with tools to operate more efficiently, minimize risks, and use resources more sustainably.

Our products – including up-to-date field boundaries, crop type maps, and harvest detection – are combined with consulting services around geo- and remote sensing data. This creates a holistic offering that not only provides data but also generates real added value: from strategic planning to daily management and sustainable yield security.
