The story of BIN Sp. z o. o. (BIN Ltd.) is a powerful demonstration of the vision and dedication that, over more than 35 years, has transformed a local Polish company into one of Europe's industry leaders.
It all began in 1980 when Zygmunt Krzemiński, combining his experience as a farmer with his engineering genius, created the prototypes of grain silos on his farm in Koneck. This unique perspective of the founder became the cornerstone of the company's success.
In 1990, during Poland's economic transformation, Krzemiński founded Zakład Mechanizacji i Automatyzacji Rolnictwa BIN (BIN Agriculture Mechanisation and Automation Plant). It was the first company in Poland to begin the mass production of silos made from galvanised steel sheets for storing grain on farms. Thanks to their high quality and affordable price, BIN silos quickly gained popularity in Poland and many other European countries. This innovative approach to grain storage provided farmers with independence from state-owned elevators and significantly increased the profitability of their farms.
From the very beginning, the company focused on quality and reliability. Constant investments in modern machinery and improving production processes made the BIN brand synonymous with excellence. The Marketing Department also contributed to the success by effectively convincing customers of the advantages of BIN products. The farmers internationally recognised the company's commitment to innovation at an early stage. As early as 1996, long before Poland's accession to the EU, BIN achieved its first major export success in Denmark, where BIN silos became a permanent feature of the rural landscape.
The transformation of the company into BIN Sp. z o.o. (into BIN Ltd.) in 1999, Poland's subsequent accession to the EU further accelerated its domestic and international growth and expansion. Today, BIN exports its products to many countries, including Sweden, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, and Ukraine, strengthening its strong position in the European market.
The company has sold over 70,000 silos with a total capacity exceeding seven million tonnes, which is a clear indication of the immense trust of its customers. The foundation of BIN's heritage is quality, innovation, and a pursuit of excellence. The offering of the company includes modern silos and other machines and equipment for farmers, such as conveyors, agricultural sheds, and retention tanks. The company is committed to continuous investment in research and development, introducing ground breaking innovations. Over the years, BIN has also won numerous awards from farmers, journalists, and the Polish Ministry of Agriculture, which impelled the company to continue improving its products.
Zygmunt Krzemiński founded the company, and from the beginning, he was supported in its development by his family, who supported technical and marketing development, took a stake in the company, and participated in its management. Today, BIN is led by a young and dynamic new generation that continues the founder's vision, actively developing production plants and driving the company to remain at the forefront of the industry.
The story of BIN is an inspiring example of a Polish company that, thanks to vision and hard work, revolutionised the way grain is stored in Poland and became one of Europe's leaders in its industry.
We look forward to seeing you at our stand during AGRITECHNICA 2025 to discuss how BIN can help solve your grain storage problems and contribute to your success.
