Aebi Maschinenfabrik & Co. AG, based in Burgdorf (Switzerland), develops and manufactures machines for use in mountain farming. The product range includes Aebi Terratrac slope tractors, versatile Aebi transporters and single-axle motor mowers. All machines are designed for use in demanding terrain and are characterised by their high slope capability. Thanks to optimal weight distribution and low ground pressure, they enable efficient and soil-friendly cultivation of sloping land.

In partnership with Müller Landmaschinen GmbH, Aebi presents the innovative Line Traction drive concept, which combines the advantages of a central drive with the possibilities of controlled individual wheel drives.

The system impresses with its high energy efficiency, versatile application possibilities and driving dynamics at a previously unattained level. For testing purposes, it was integrated into an Aebi Terratrac 281 in collaboration with Müller Landmaschinen.

The results of this development will be presented together with Müller Landmaschinen at Agritechnica 2025. The aim of the partnership is to use the next generation, Line Traction Version 3 (LT3), in future series production vehicles from Aebi.
