Founded in 1984, the STIF Group is a French industrial group (headquartered in Saint Georges sur Loire in Maine et Loire 49, near Angers) specializing in the design, manufacture and marketing of innovative industrial equipment for niche markets. Historically positioned on handling equipment for bulk products, such as elevator buckets, elevator belts, safety equipment for elevators,  components for pipe system of cereales and compression fittings (co-leader worldwide).

The family-owned Group has diversified over the past fifteen years by developing in the field of passive protection against the risk of industrial dust explosions, and since 2022 in the very high-potential activity of explosion protection in the field of renewable energies and more precisely in battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The STIF Group generates 87% of its sales outside France and exports its products to more than 70 countries, testifying to its international influence and its ability to meet the diversified needs of its customers around the world.
