From the idea to the field: as a medium-sized, owner-managed group of companies in the agricultural technology sector, we develop, produce, and distribute innovative components and wear parts for harvesting machines. We are everywhere where stalks are cut, chopped, or tied. In addition, we produce shears and matching carrier systems for tree and shrub care, gardening, landscaping, roadside maintenance, and hedge trimming. Our products are used millions of times in harvesting machines worldwide—either as original equipment, retrofits, or replacement parts. With our experience and practical approach, we are committed to innovative harvesting solutions and services that enable machine manufacturers, farmers, and contractors to improve their productivity. With state-of-the-art technology and the expansion of digitalization, we are increasing our responsiveness to the complex demands of changing and volatile markets. This enables us to harvest important raw materials for food and energy production efficiently and safely.

Our seven locations are spread across four continents. Based in the “Westerwald” and “Bergisches Land” regions of Germany, our employees around the globe are dedicated to perfect harvesting. Our internationality forms a solid and secure foundation: with experience from a wide variety of harvesting regions around the world and in constant contact with farmers, our team of experts is very close to the needs of our end customers.

Third-generation family business

Our core values are based on tradition and independence. Since 2018, Selina Schumacher has been managing the operational business of the group of companies in its third generation. Her brother, Moritz Schumacher, has also been part of the management team since May 2022. The future viability of GROUP SCHUMACHER is thus secured through family succession. Because we are more than just an employer. We are an employer and a family.

Ready for the future: Investments at headquarter in Germany

In order to further expand production capacities at the headquarter in Germany, an investment package has been put together to invest in the modernization and restructuring of the production facilities and the construction of a logistics center. The aim is to achieve advanced, state-of-the-art production in order to enable further growth and increase the competitiveness of the global player.
